Here is what he had to say about his visit:

“I was so excited to go to Florida and see the Dali Museum. The museum had an exciting feature called Ask Dali. You pick up a lobster-shaped phone and ask Dali a question. Through AI, you can listen to Dali's response and start a conversation. It really surprised me when I first tried it. I even asked him about Minecraft, and he talked about the "pixelated battlefield." It was the most fun I've had at a museum in a very long time.”

Meet one of our dedicated students at Georgia Connections Academy, who is a proud member of the Rome Jr. Roller Derby All-Star Travel Team. He shares, "[Georgia Connections Academy] allows us flexibility in our schedules to travel for games and tournaments. Compared to traditional schools that I have attended in the past, I thrive when I can do my schoolwork in a variety of settings. Completing schoolwork around our travels without falling behind has been a huge bonus for us."

He regularly participates in LiveLesson sessions and feels comfortable reaching out to teachers and peers whenever he has questions. He enjoys the social interaction with his peers in the chat between lessons. "What I like most about Connections Academy is that the school has helped me achieve my educational goals but also in roller derby," he says.

One of his most memorable experiences at Connections Academy was receiving an Honor Roll award in the mail. "Having my accomplishments recognized this way was unexpected and meant a lot," he recalls.
