Health talk time! The question I am talking about this week: "Once I start seeing a chiropractor, do I have to keep going for the rest of my life?"

My take? No, you don't have to. But, if you are getting good chiropractic care, your body is going to respond favorably to it and you will want to keep coming in to keep you functioning and feeling well!

Topic this week: Should we "adjust" ourselves?

Answer: No! Please leave adjustments to properly trained professionals - you can injure yourself, and it is definitely not worth it.

Side note: If you are just stretching and you hear a popping sound, you do not need to be alarmed. If there was no pain with the sound and it just organically happened, that is perfectly normal, and your body is just doing its thing 😊

Keep stretching, keep moving, but DO NOT CRANK ON YOURSELF to get a "pop," you can hurt yourself!!!

Let's talk about youth sports! You all know this is a huge passion of mine and I talk about it all the time in the office. 🤓

Our youth athletes are HARD on their bodies, and they are capable of some truly amazing things. However, as parents, sometimes we forget that even though they seem like they are like little Energizer bunnies, they get sore and deal with nagging injuries, just like adults do.

I have 12 years of experience treating youth athletes from all different walks of sports, and I can tell you first-hand that they need care even more than adults do. 🤯

Treating youth athletes looks a lot different than the traditional "adult" chiropractic visit, and I know it can be scary to trust just anyone with your athletes, so please feel free to ask me any questions you may have either in the office or DM me!
