Hey there, parents and guardians! Are you looking for a summer filled with adventure and learning for your kids? Look no further! We’re thrilled to announce our Summer Camps designed to spark creativity and ignite the passion for learning in youth and teens.
Our camps offer a unique blend of hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). Your child will not only enjoy but also gain valuable skills this summer!

Our campus THON committee is collecting gift cards to be used for the upcoming Purse Bingo on Feb. 4th. If anyone would like to help please let Dave Lucas or Michele Lucas know!
On Sunday, Feb. 4, Penn State Scranton hosts its annual Designer Purse Bingo to benefit THON at the Holiday Inn Dunmore, 200 Tigue Street, Dunmore!
Doors open at 1 PM and games begin at 3 PM. Tickets are $30 and include 16 bingo games and a ticket for the door prize drawing. Food and beverages will be available to purchase at the Holiday Inn.
Seating is limited and you must have a ticket to enter. They can be purchased in advance by contacting Nikki Paolicelli at [email protected].

We had the opportunity to participate in St. Mary’s of Mount Carmel trunk or treat in Dunmore tonight! The treat bags provided by our society were a huge hit! Thank you to Olivia our campus THON chair for helping out at the event!

On October 5 at 4:45pm, we will be dropping the tennis balls on the hill by the soccer field. Whichever ball goes the farthest distance, that person will win the 50/50 prize. We will be selling tennis ball numbers at home athletic events and outside the cafe on campus! It’s time for our annual summer event, which will coincide with our first meeting of the 2023-2024 school year. Our main agenda will be to have some food, drinks, and fun together, but we will also honor the outgoing officers and swear in the new officers and board members. It will be held on Sunday, August 20th at 2 PM. Our outgoing President, Dave Lucas, is hosting the afternoon event at his home in Old Forge. Hope you all are having a great week. Next week, on Tuesday, June 6th, we will be holding our final Penn State Scranton Alumni Society meeting for this season. We will not be meeting in July, and we will resume our meetings in August with new officers.
We are meeting in the Study Learning Center Room 31. Please join us at 6:00 PM.
Our focus will be solidifying new officers and board members while also discussing events happening later this year.
We had a great turnout at our last meeting and hope to have another sizeable crowd as we close out the year. Please invite fellow alumni and those who haven't been able to attend in the past.
