What our organization's name change means — and doesn't mean — to Scouts and leaders The Boy Scouts of America is changing its name to Scouting America. Let’s dive into what it means to the youth and adult members of Scouting America.

So I guess there is a name change coming. Same great pack though!

The Boy Scouts of America today announced that it will rebrand to Scouting America, reflecting the organization’s ongoing commitment to welcome every youth and family in America to experience the benefits of Scouting. The change will go into effect on February 8, 2025, the organization’s 115th anniversary.

I would like as many Cubs as possible to join in.

May 11, 2024, changing flags at Dunmore Cemeteries.

Please take a look at the attached photo and find our invitation for your organization to participate in our parade on May 18th.

Reminder: Pinewood Derby is this Saturday, 3/16/24!

We will start car check-ins at 11:00 and racing starts at 12:00.

We will have a concessions fundraiser throughout the event.

So far, we have the following donations for concessions:

Carolyn and Chuck Otto- walking tacos
Dave Kizer - pizza
Kristen Suhulla - meatballs

Kristen Meola - cupcakes
Kelly Sleboda - blueberry muffins

Matt Smith - juice boxes
Kate Cobley- water

Any other donations are appreciated and if they don’t sell you can take them home. Please comment on the Band app what you are bringing.

If anyone wants to volunteer for setup/decoration on Friday at 7:00 or Race Day at 11:00, please comment on the Band app.

If anyone wants to do an unofficial weigh in of their car tonight, I will bring my scale.

No meeting tonight. Pack meeting next week.

Save the date!! The Northeast Pennsylvania Armed Forces Day Parade is coming back on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Be sure to mark your calendars. The Heroes of All Kinds 5K will kick off the event at 9 AM. See you there!!
