Especially in today's market there are many myths going on, and many people outside of real estate are believing them! Always talk to a real estate agent before assuming/believing what the rest of the world is saying! 🗣 ❌

Buyer Myth: "I should wait to buy until home prices and mortgage rates fall"

The reality is most experts say prices and rates will continue to increase this year, meaning it'll cost you more money in the long run if you decide to wait.

Seller Myth: "I can set the asking price for my house at whatever I want."

The reality is you can't! Pricing to high can have your home sitting on the market for months giving many buyers a "red flag" feel on the property. Pricing to low means you could be leaving hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table. Contact a real estate agent, such as myself, to help properly asses the market and see what your home is truly worth.

Buyer Myth: "Waiving the home inspection is a good idea if I want my offer to stand out."

Reality is a home inspection tells you, the buyer, what the condition is of the home. Real estate agents specialize in the current market, not on inspecting houses! Waiving it could cost you more down the road, as well as a few unpleasant surprises.

Seller Myth: "I have to renovate my house before selling it."

Reality is that most often than not you don't have to. Especially in today's market. A new interior paint job and staging can go a long way!
