Happy Earth Day Hideaway Family! 🌎

I think this picture was a great capture of civilization mixing with the beauty of Mother Earth. I took this picture just in awe of the beauty Earth has to offer, even in the midst of buildings, cars and planes. Do not forget this is our home, until we can leave it out of necessity, it is ours and we should care for our home just like we would on the ones we pay a mortgage. That includes protecting the animals who cannot defend themselves. Take a minute today, if for nothing else just to appreciate how fortunate we are to call Earth home in the vastness of the universe. You matter, our planet matters. Over millions of years it continues to give, but how do you give back?

Saw this on a walk tonight here in El Paso! 🐍 Hypsiglena jani or the Chihuahuan night snake. This snake species is mildly venomous and found in West Texas and New Mexico.
