El Paso VA HCS will be hosting the first 2024 PACT ACT Clinic on February 23, 2024 from 1pm-6pm at the Armijo Rec Center (700 E. 7th Ave.)

The Comrades of VFW Post 2451 were hard at work this past week. They helped prepare a community dinner that fed over 400 people as well as delivered food to over 100 veterans, the elderly and sick. Outstanding job to each Comrade.

Comrades from our hardworking Post recieved some much deserved recognition for the work they do in our community. Thank you for your dedication Comrades.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is proud to announce 162 service members and veterans were selected as recipients of the VFW’s “Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship” for the upcoming 2023 fall semester. The student veterans will collectively receive nearly $750,000 in post-secondary scholarships to help them achieve their academic goals while lessening their student loan burden.

Please help us congratulate Ms. Andreas Harkless on being selected as the 2022 winner of the Smart/Maher VFW Citizenship Education Teacher Award for VFW Post No. 2451 and District 10. It is always a beautiful day when you can recognize the hard work our teachers do in our community!!

Members of VFW Post No 2451 joined forces with El Paso Holy Royal Arch Chapter No 90 to cook dinner for the families in the El Paso Ronald McDonald House. Looking forward to the next event already.

Members of VFW Post No 2451 joined forces with El Paso Holy Royal Arch Chapter No 90 to conduct an afternoon bingo event at the Ambrosia Guillen Veterans Home. The Veterans are always happy to play bingo. Looking forward to the next event already.

VFW Post No. 2451 had a successful meeting last night. Two more veterans joined our ranks. The Post also awarded the VFW Commendation Award to Comrade Billy Mikels for his dedication to our great organization.

Today, on the anniversary of the end of the Panama Campaign, we pause to honor those who fought to defend democracy in Panama and safeguard American nationals.

VFW Post No. 2451 inducted 3 new members tonight. Welcome aboard Comrades

On December 31st in support of the City of El Paso's Keeping our City Clean initiative, members of VFW Post No 2451 conducted its final highway clean up for 2022. Outstanding work Comrades.

On December 30th Comrade Randy Hutchons gave the members and friends of our Post a lengthy lecture on the significance of Pearl Harbor Day.

It was such a blessing to deliver a Christmas Dinner to some very special VFW members and the amazing staff at the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home.

It's that time of year again. The Comrades are coming together to deliver plates to our veterans around El Paso.

We were able to conduct a VFW Veteran's Breakfast. Where we talked about the changes to the disability process as well as upcoming opportunities for veteran community outreach that we are planning. We ate, drank coffee, talked then we went to work cleaning up our community.
