“I am forever grateful for all of the friendships and memories that I’ve made in ZTA! From serving on exec, to getting littles, to pref night of every recruitment, there are so many memories it’s hard to choose a favorite. My advice is to make the most out of your experience and live in the moment- time really does fly! Gamma Gamma, it has been an honor to serve as your president. I have loved getting to know and work with the most amazing women! Y’all make me so proud and I can’t thank you enough for all the love and support you have always shown me. I love you gamma gamma 🩶🩵 zlam “

“My time in Gamma Gamma was full of so many memories that it’s hard to pick one! Some of my favorite memories include getting my 2 littles, seeing my (biological) sister run home, serving in exec, and so much more! Being a part of this chapter has been so fulfilling and has meant so much to me. My advice would be to take every moment in, it flies by! I have so much love for Gamma Gamma 🥹🩵”

“My favorite ZTA memory is getting each and everyone of my littles! Getting to be a big sister and watch these girls grow has been my most rewarding experience here in ZTA! One thing I will leave ZTA with is to always show up for your sisters whether it be to cheer them on or to be the shoulder for them to lean on. I knew not everyday was going to be a good day but knowing I had an amazing support system from Zeta kept me going. I will forever be proud of and grateful for this wonderful opportunity I took because it got me some of my lifelong friends and made me into the woman I am today. I have gained a voice, friendship and most of all love the greatest of all things. Thank you Zeta Tau Alpha.
love your ZTA sister Shadee

“My favorite zta memory would be getting my 4 most perfect littles.🤍
Words of wisdom: make the most out of zeta, what you put in is what you get out!
I love you gamma gamma “

“When I think back on my college memories a lot of the best ones are the ones I have made in ZTA! I was able to get the most 11 perfect littles who have all impacted me in way they don’t know, I got the most amazing big who is not only my bestest friend in the whole world but the older sister I always wanted, I got some of my bestest friends, and lastly I was able to see my actual sissy (gillyann) become a zeta, run home, and lastly be her new memeber mom!
If there’s words of wisdom that I can leave my sisters it is to take in all of the moments. enjoy them because all the fun, crazy, and overwhelming moments come to an end way too fast and it isn’t something you wanna miss! Enjoy your nm experience, the moments in between and lastly your final moments as a ZETA!
I love you and I am so proud to have seen literally all of you come in and grow within zeta! 🩷”
Happy Thanksgiving from Gamma Gamma!

“I joined ZTA because I was stuck in a routine that included waking up, attending classes, returning home, working, and repeating the process every day. When I transferred to UTEP, I wanted a place where I could be involved, have a change in my life, and a place where I felt like I belonged. It was surreal to be able to go through the recruitment process and feel like I was at home, loved, and welcomed by all the girls. Although I was unsure about joining, I am glad that I did because I found everything I was looking for. I'll never forget the moment I stopped feeling lost. 🩷”

“I joined ZTA because I want to advocate for the women who feel they may not have a voice. Our philanthropy for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness hits my heart deeply because my Abuela had breast cancer for a long period of her life. She fought extremely hard every day and I’m proud to call her a survivor. She meant the world to me, and I want to share her story and inspire other women to know that they are stronger than they believe, and through anything, they will conquer all.”

HAPPY RECRUITMENT WEEK!
We loved meeting all of you at orientation last night, and we can’t wait to see you again tonight! Zeta Tau Alpha wishes a happy recruitment week to our Panhellenic community and our Potential New Members! ZLAM 👑🩵
To close out our series, we saved the best one for last, LOVE! We are so excited about recruitment this week and for you to see all the love our chapter has for each other, and for the Panhellenic community. Lily, our VP of Recruitment, describes love best:
"Love, the greatest of all things" a line so perfectly created to describe what it means to be a ZTA. There is nothing like calling a sister when you're bored at night and want to get ice cream, losing your mind because of finals and having a sister help you study, talking about your favorite shows and music with sisters that have the same interests as you. Zeta Love is taking care of each other. Zeta Love is showing up for your sisters when one is in need. Zeta Love is being advocates for Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. Zeta Tau Alpha is home, a beautiful sisterhood filled with compassion and understanding. Every day, every ZTA is practicing one of the most treasured values of love in every aspect of her life.”
RECRUITMENT STARTS TODAY! Our next Key Value is Being Rather Than Seeming. We also wanted to spotlight another advisor that strongly exhibits this value for us all. Ariana pushes all of us to be better versions of ourselves and to be strong leaders. Her authenticity shines through and we appreciate all that she does for Gamma Gamma.
Read below to see what this value means to Ariana:
“Zeta Tau Alpha has taught us that Being Rather than Seeming is one of the most important values to hold. It emphasizes and prioritizes the importance of authenticity and genuine qualities in yourself and others, rather than focusing on appearances or superficial impressions. ZTA encourages sincerity and authenticity in one’s actions, character, and relationships at any level. I will forever be thankful to ZTA for teaching and instilling this key value into my life. Always remember— be true, be beautiful, and most importantly, be YOU!”
