📰📰BREAKING NEWS: There’s reason to be optimistic!​

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just announced they’re approving Kisunla, a new drug that has been shown in clinical trials to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease!​

This news is of great significance to the Down syndrome community as a staggering 90% of individuals with DS will develop Alzheimer’s by the age of 54 -- Kisunla gaining FDA approval gives our population another treatment option!​

What a FANTASTIC finish to our GiGi’s Summer Adventures for Teens! Sporting our Generation G caps, we visited the Centennial Museum on the UTEP campus and added our wishes to the cloud. We learned to dance hip hop and made long lasting friendships!💕
