As we reflect on the wild ride that was 2020, we are encouraged by the incredible blessings that have come our way and allowed us to continue to build the H5 legacy. From ICU/Trauma Unit waiting room family services and support, to community candle lights to the courthouse and beyond, the generous support of our donors has allowed us to provide vital services to families and communities in crisis and create pathways for healing.

We were honored to be selected as a Fall 2020 grantee working in collaboration with PRO Youth and Families and, as a result, had the awesome privilege of supporting,mentoring,being educated by and sharing (socially distanced) space with a dynamic group of youth and young adults who are present and future leaders in our Communities! Their self directed service projects and advocacy work are impacting the community in huge ways—from providing peer mentoring and support during "high traffic youth times" in the mall, to distributing holiday toys, to creating a Distance Learning "Task Force" and advisory board, to healing candle making sessions, and so much more! We are in awe of the strength and resilience of these young people who are determined to transform their own individual and collective trauma through service to others into something good and sustainable for the community!

Finally, we are deeply grateful and humbled by those who allow us to be of support during their most vulnerable moments and trust us to be part of their journey as they navigate through crisis and healing. The strength, love, and courage they display to move forward through their darkest moments continually motivates and endlessly inspires us, and is a true testament to faith and almighty grace. May we all continue to be carried and blessed throughout 2021.
