CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2024 FOR FINALLY GRADUATING! River Valley will keep each one of you in our hearts and we will all miss you very much! Congratulations to the rest of our RV students finishing out this school year strong!

Our final 2024 SENIOR STAT for the year is our ASB President, Jada Langley!

Jada will be attending UC Davis, majoring in Applied Chemistry! Over her years at River Valley Jada worked very hard in her studies and in her school community. She leads the entire student body and excels in every sport she takes part in. Not only does she advocate for her entire student body but she also contributes to our River Valley track team, soccer team, and Tangent class. Jada never fails to amaze everyone and does her best pushing other’s to their full potential. Here at River Valley we are proud to have been apart of her educational journey and we are grateful to see it all pay off! Congratulations Jada on committing to University of California Davis, we know you will do amazing!

Zoe will be attending Cal Poly State University, majoring in Family Studies and Child Development! Over her years at River Valley Zoe worked very hard in her studies and her school community. She is well involved in ASB and soccer! Not only does she help at school but she’s also earning her gold award for girl scouts, which is the highest ranking in the girl scout organization! She’s also won Miss. Lakeside this past school year and is an avid member of ASB’s Spirit Commite. She never fails to make everyone proud and completes everything she puts her mind to! Here at River Valley we are proud to have been apart of her educational journey and we are grateful to see it all pay off! Congratulations Zoe on committing to Cal Poly University, we know you will do amazing!

Coming up, we have… ANYTHING BUT A BACKPACK DAY! This will be on 19b (May 30th and 31st)
Sadly this will be our last spirit day of the 2023 to 2024 school year but despite that ASB hopes you had fun dressing up and participating in the lunch activities!

Kicking off our 2024 SENIOR STATS we have our one and only CLASS VP PEYTON LANG!

Peyton will be attending the University of Tennessee, majoring in Biochemistry and minor in Neuroscience! Over her years at River Valley Peyton has worked very hard in her studies as well as to improve her school community. She is well involved in ASB and witholds a lot of responsibility as Class Vice President. Peyton also leads an after school extracurricular, G.I.D.A.S (Gene in Disease’s and Symptoms) which educates students on the different gene’s that can be found within a range of different diseases. Peyton is extremely hardworking and has an amazing work ethic. Here at River Valley we are proud to have been apart of her educational journey and we are greatdlful to see it all pay or! Congratulations Peyton on commiting to University of Tennese, we know you will do amazing!

Hey RVCS Girls,
Are you interested in a career in law enforcement? The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is inviting girls between the ages of 14-18 who are currently (or will be next year) enrolled in a high school program to participate in a three-day camp in June. You will get to meet staff and learn about career opportunities at the Sheriff’s Department. Please see the flyer above for additional information about this great opportunity!

PROM is coming up THIS FRIDAY! Make sure to get your tickets this week, currently the price is $70 but will raise to $75 at the door (unless you’re an online student). Tickets will be sold during lunch this week so make sure to stop by the ASB booth or Mrs. Ferrell’s office.
