Brim repair and new liner on this New Yorker from Sac City . We cut the wire and welded it back , repaired the leather and matched the paint as best as we could .

Here at WCFH we have been repainting fire helmets for the past 14 years . We only use factory recommended methods and have spent lots of time perfecting our craft . So before you send your helmet to get repainted or get the hook up price read the following.

Quick update , my carpal tunnel flared up due to working on repainting the two tone carved brass on the legacy series helmets . This is taking quite some time and we’re in the process of looking for a new vendor that can complete these without blemishes . The dark flat red repaints, half are done looking at completion early next week , once we finish with the 3 last remaining legacy helmets we will begin the next batch (sorry for the delay) , small repairs are being completed as best as we can with a busted hand . With all that being said I am going to give my hand a few days to heal and resume activities next week
