KFC (Kid's For Christ)

Tonight and next week we wrap up our derby car projects in preparation for the competition! Its not too late too join...here are some pictures of the cars in progress for your enjoyment:-) Hope to see you tonight!!

Movie night tonight and next week!! We are inviting all the kids to wear PJs and bring a blanket and stuffed animal or pillow...hope to see lots of you there! :-)

🎄Tonight is our Christmas party and next week we have some fun activities planned as we celebrate Jesus' birth. These are our last 2 weeks before we take a 3 week break so hope to see many of you tonight and next week!!🎄

Whats better than fair season?...the start of KFC!! We open tonight at 408 E Fulton St in Ephrata at 7. Again we ask that each child comes with their own parent/guardian so we can get all the correct emergency contact info and because we would love to meet you! If you have questions when you arrive tonight feel free to see someone wearing these cool staff tshirts😊 Hope to see you soon!!

KFC begins again next Wednesday October 13th from 7:00-8:10! Spread the word and looking forward to seeing you then! Since its the first night we ask that each parent/guardian brings their own kids to check them in and fill out paperwork. Thanks!!

Just a snapshot of the fun night we had on Wednesday! Sorry some of the pictures arent more clear. Thanks to all the kids who participated and shared their talents with us and their animals :-) We had a blast!! KFC is still going until the last Wednesday in May, so invite friends!

Our talent show is just around the corner-Wednesday April 14! Its always a fun night and great to see how creative our kids can be! Hope to see you then :)

2nd week of spring KFC tonight! Grades K-4 will be having a movie night...so bring a friend, PJs, and blanket/pillow to get comfy!

2nd Week of Spring KFC is next Wednesday, March 10! The kids in grades K-4 can wear pajamas for the first of 2 movie nights :-) We look forward to seeing them then!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting KFC again next Wed. Oct 7 from 7:00-8:10! The first night we do need parents to come to sign your kids in. Due to the current circumstances we feel we can only commit to having it every week until Wed. Dec 16 at which point we will reassess if we can continue KFC.

This year has been difficult for us to know how to proceed. We want to do our best to have a fun, safe, and healthy year. Please do not send your kids if they have been showing any symptoms of COVID and we will need to ask you to take kid(s) home if they are running a fever at all. We will also have hand sanitizer readily available and be doing our best to keep cleanliness a priority. At this time we will not be providing transportation due to circumstances. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you and your children this year again!

Food Give Away at Shady Maple June 3

As America celebrates Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who have given their lives in our nation’s wars. The willingness of America’s veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude. In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

Our new hours of operation for the food pantry began this week. We are now open only on Thursdays, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., located in our church social hall. Please enter from the rear of the building, through the door facing the basketball net and clothing drop off box.

As we all go through this challenging time, we are aware that many families may be struggling financially, as many have lost jobs temporarily or permanently. We have a food & supply pantry open from 9-12 on Tuesdays and 12-3 on Thursdays in the Church Social Hall with nonperishable items, snacks, cleaning supplies, and occasionally fresh produce and vegetables. It will be every Tuesday from 9-12 and Thursdays from 12-3, until further notice. See our about page for the address.

We want to provide anyone who needs assistance with the opportunity to pick out essential supplies they may need free of charge because we care about you and your families. We will also be doing our best to use caution for your safety and the safety of our volunteers who are there to assist you when you visit. Please wear a mask when entering the building. Enter from the rear entrance towards the vans and basketball net. There is limited delivery available to anyone in the community with transportation issues. Please call the church during the pantry hours to speak with one of our volunteers. ‪717-733-1661‬

Items marked with an 'X' are items we currently do not have. We will not be updating this on a regular basis-this is only to give an idea of some items we will try to have.
