Woodcrest offers a variety of summer camps plus rental facilities for many different occasions.
The ministry of Woodcrest Retreat is to introduce people to Jesus Christ and encourage Christian growth through programs and partnerships that emphasize creation and community.
We are inviting our local youth workers to a breakfast on Oct 3rd in our Indian Rock Dining Hall. Speaker Josh Good who serves with Christian Endeavor. We are all set for this year's Fall Family Fun Fest on Saturday, September 14th. Family Fun with games, food trucks, craft vendors, silent auction, and live music is from 11:00-2:00. We have our gaga ball tournament at 2:00. Starting at 4:00 is a spaghetti dinner with our evening festivities beginning at 6:00 featuring The Skit Guys. The Fall Fest at Woodcrest Retreat is only a few days away. September 14th will be here soon. Kicking off our evening festivities will be Avery William Klees playing bluegrass and Christian music starting at 5:45 p.m. in the big tent. Avery has been a part of Servant Stage and Piercing Word and we are delighted to have him start our night of music and fun featuring The Skit Guys. Fall Fest is this Sat! Join us from 11-2 for fun games, activities, and food. From 4-6 we will be serving a spaghetti Dinner with the Skit Guys providing our evening entertainment at 6pm. All proceeds from the Fall Fest go towards our Mission 4:12 Building Campaign and benefits our Summer Camp programs. Food is a great part of any festival and we have lots of great food for our Fall Fest on September 14th. We are excited to have Castaneda’s Mexican Restaurant's food truck on site with thir amazing food. Penny's Ice Cream Truck, Joe on the Go Coffee Co, 951bbq, and Aunt Fannie's famous pretzels and lemonade will also be here. Breakout Ministries Leola PA will be selling hotdogs and walking tacos as they raise funds for their mission trip. Woodcrest will be selling funnel cakes, chicken tenders, cotton candy and apple cider slushies. All of these will be available from 11:00 until 2:00 on our main ball field. Come for the games and family fun and enjoy delicious food.
We kicked off our fall semester of the School of Wonder with our community fire safety day. Thank you Reamstown Fire Company 17-1 for all you do to keep our communities safe.
Yesterday we said goodbye to our pool season. With the closing of summer, comes our Fall Fest on Sept 14! We are blessed to have the support of several local businesses including Terre Hill Family Restaurant and Lichty Brothers Collision Repair to sponsor this event. A busy start to the fall semester field trip season. We enjoyed serving Lititz Area Mennonite School, linville_hill, Crossroads - A Community Homeschool, and Paloma School from Lebanon this week. Call to schedule your school’s field trip!
A beautiful day for Woodcrest’s annual 3D Archery Shoot. There’s a great turnout with great food.
Woodcrest Retreat saved five kittens this summer. They were found in our maintenance building in the beginning of July. They have lovingly been bottle fed since they were three weeks old. They love people. There are three females and two males. If interested we can send additional photos.
Fostering Opportunities: We foster out most of our summer camp animals that live at our Nature Center. We still have three adorable bunnies that didn't get fostered before camp was over. Freckles, Rocky, and Patrick are all boys. Freckles is a lop ear bunny born in 2020. Rocky and Patrick were born in May 2024. If you are interested in fostering any of these bunnies, please message Woodcrest.
With summer 2024 behind us, we give thanks to God for the great staff that poured so much into the lives of the over 2,000 campers who step onto Woodcrest's property this summer. God is raising up a generation that with take the gospel around the world.

15th Annual Woodcrest Retreat Benefit 3D Archery Shoot

Woodcrest Retreat invites archers of all ages to come out and enjoy testing their skills on the special 30 target course during the 15th Annual 3D Archery Shoot scheduled for Saturday, August 24, from 7:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. There will be varied trails, a wide variety of animals, and different shooting angles, which make Woodcrest’s annual shoot a favorite for many. Included with the registration fee is a delicious and hearty hot brunch at 10:00 a.m., during which you will be encouraged by the guest speaker. You will also have a chance to win door prizes and time to peruse various exhibitors. Organizers are asking you to register before Monday, August 19, and they will allow shooting a second round for a reduced rate.
