Pastor Katie, Mike & Jane Weber and Rev. Dr. Bill Wealand represented Bethany as they participated in the Penn Central/Keystone Conference this past weekend in State College. Mike and Jane served as lay delegates, Katie served as a clergy delegate and Bill led a discussion on how to get retired clergy more active within our conferences. More information about the potential creation of the Keystone Conference is forthcoming. We’re looking forward to the next chapter for the UCC in PA!

Our worship service this Sunday, May 26 will be held outdoors at Old Bethany Cemetery at 9:00am. Please bring a lawn chair. We will not be able to stream this service but all are welcome to join us in person!

It was a busy weekend at Bethany. Some of our Consistory met for their annual retreat, and then our choir participated in the first ever Music Fair sponsored by the Lancaster Association and held at Church of the Apostles. We also celebrated our scouts and leaders at worship this morning. Thank you to all of our wonderful, dedicated volunteers and our gifted music staff!
