At the hearing, Borough Council will consider for adoption an Ordinance, entitled and summarized hereinafter, to amend the table of uses of the Zoning Ordinance of the Borough of Ephrata. Borough Council’s regularly scheduled meeting will immediately follow the conclusion of the public hearing, at which time Borough Council will vote upon adoption of the proposed ordinance.

The title of the proposed Ordinance is:

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF EPHRATA, LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, CHAPTER 319, ZONING TO ALTER THE TABLE OF ALLOWED USES IN PRIMARILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS AND THE TABLE OF ALLOWED USES IN PRIMARILY NONRESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS

A summary of the proposed Ordinance is as follows:

The proposed ordinance amends Chapter 319, entitled Zoning, of the Code of the Borough of Ephrata to alter the table of allowed uses in primarily residential districts and in primarily nonresidential districts in order to remove certain provisions relating to temporary accessory extreme cold weather emergency shelters, and providing when this ordinance shall be effective.
