Let me tell you about the sweetest family and buying their perfect house. I have been helping them look for houses for a few months now and they were looking in a really competitive neighborhood here in town. We were getting beat out offer after offer on homes they thought were great but didn't give up hope. Well, a few weeks ago, I saw there was a house just listed with no pictures and very little information in their perfect neighborhood. After finding out the realtor accidentally put it on the market before it was ready but was allowing us to go look, we were the first ones through the door and immediately wrote up a solid offer. The sellers agent called back and was just as surprised as we were when the seller decided to accept our offer and not wait for photos and an offer deadline! We probably would have been beat out by the multiple cash offers they received after ours, but the seller wanted to sell to a family and not an investor and it l worked out amazingly. Our incredible lender Joe at Summit Funding closed it in 2 weeks with a holiday in the middle 🤯 and everyone could not have been happier. I am over the moon that I was able to help this family secure what they've been looking for and sometimes the right property is worth the wait.

Back on Friday, everyone at had the opportunity to do our annual community service at the food share garden. Here are some of the lovely people who I got my hands dirty with. This is seriously one of the coolest opportunities our company sets up for us to do. Having a team this large makes a really big impact in the garden in one day! I can't wait until next year.

I got to spend the day yesterday at my most perfect listing hosting a Brokers Open Luncheon. Thank you to everyone that came out and toured my stunning McKenzie waterfront listing. The food was delicious and the views were on point. 👌

Working with families is such an exciting experience when the kids get involved. The level of excitement that children have is so contagious, and it makes my job so much more exciting. I can't begin to explain how excited these kids were when they got the keys to their house and got to pick out their bedrooms and plan where they were going to put their toys. Next level excitement! This check presentation was pretty special. I have been volunteering at and partnering with Hosea Youth Services for years now. So, when the opportunity to pick a nonprofit in my real estate world opened up, it was the perfect time to champion Hosea. We were excited to raise money to the unhoused youth of Lane County and see these funds go towards helping some kids get into more stable housing as well as provide for their daily needs.

One group of people I am proud to be a part of is the Eugene Realtors YPN (young professionals network). We are doing so much good for the community and have big things planned this year. Last week was my first week fulfilling my role as an Oregon Realtors Director for Eugene Realtors. I was able to go to board meetings on the State and Local levels and am learning so much! I can't wait to help on both committees this year!

One of the best parts of my job is getting to give back financially and with time to well deserving charities. In the last quarter of every year, Eugene Realtors YPN makes a donation to the St Vincent de Pauls Veterans Housing Project. Veterans Housing is doing such good work, housing ex military service members into stable housing and taking some vets directly off the streets. Earlier this year, I was able to help a sweet couple in the program start their house buying journey. It's so rewarding to watch people who have never had stable housing and get them to a point as home owners who will never have to be moved again. So excited for what's to come in 2024!!

Happy homeowner moments! Kimmy and I have known each other since 2007 and when she called me to help her buy her first home, I was over the moon excited!! We spent a few months looking but it wasn't until I was in Thailand she found the one. Thankfully, I work everywhere, and we didn't have to let 'The One' slip away. Congratulations friend!
