MARZ Drop-In Hours for the 2024-2025 school year are here! Starting September 3rd we’ll be open from 3 to 6 PM every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
MARZ is always free for youth ages 12 - 26.

We’re continuing our 2SLGBTQIA+ drop-in hours for the summer! Come meet cool, creative, like-minded people! Enjoy the time and space to create, or join in on fun planned activities! Open to youth ages 12 - 26!

Fun stuff ahead! Our amazing intern is hosting a 2SLGBTQIA+ YouthArt Mixer on April 25th at the Two Street Art Lab (527 2nd St in Old Town) from 3:30 to 6 PM. This mixer will focus on character design, with a mini workshop at 3:30! Meet other artists interested in character design, eat snacks, and make art!

Limited slots for Monday performance workshops available.
Workshops on 4/11, 4/18, and 4/25 at 4 PM. No experience is necessary, and no supplies are needed to participate. We will provide a meal during the workshop and rides are also available for those in need.

MARZ and ***rhumboldt are excited to announce new activity-based drop-in hours for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth! Mondays from 3 - 6 PM, youth ages 12 - 26 are invited to the MARZ space to come hang and do fun stuff with mentors from both MARZ and Q***r Humboldt. From jewelry to digital art to makeup and beyond, we’ll make things and get creative and silly together!

JOIN US for the first-ever 24hr Film Challenge hosted by the MARZ Project! Join your friends and other MARZ students in a race to write, film, and edit a short film in 24 HOURS! Students are invited to say overnight and complete their films with teams of 3-5. Drinks and snacks will be available but we highly encourage you to bring your own to share!

Benefit for the MARZ Project this Wednesday!
It's going down Wednesday, Oct. 27th at the Jam in Arcata. Doors open at 9:30 pm. Performing artists include Onhell, Moniker, Zanapod, and Norman, with special guest VJ Dumps! $10—$15 admission. All proceeds benefit the MARZ Project.
Before the show, Onhell, Hypha and Suds will unlock the secrets of audio production at a free Ableton workshop from 6—9 pm. Be there, or watch the live stream at youtube.com/marzproject.
