Really important to remember in the chance someone you know with autism goes missing. According to the National Autism Association, 2-3 wandering fatalities happen every week with children on the autism spectrum. While this isn’t something anyone likes to talk about, it is very important to know and remember in times of emergency.

We are hosting another an August Sensory Screening of Harold and the Purple Crayon on the 11th at Broadway Cinema. Join us for a fun sensory friendly setting to watch this movie with your family. Doors open at 9:30 AM and the movie is scheduled to start at 10 AM. Head over to Eventbrite now to reserve your spots.

Please remember that this event is open to individuals with autism and their immediate family. During this event you are allowed to move around the theatre, talk, laugh and enjoy the movie anyway that is comfortable for you and those with autism. Thank you so much to the Humboldt County Fog Dogs for your kind support this year with your amazing pool tournament! It was such a fun day watching everyone in the tournament and seeing part of our local community come together and help fundraise for our organization. ♥️

We are so grateful for every bit of work that went into this event. There were so many kind donations from people and local businesses, even a motorcycle! So thank you to everyone that donated, everyone that participated in the tournament and everyone that helped put this incredible event together! A donation like this will help us with so many different projects and programs. Thank you!!!!

We hope to see you at the 2024 Redwood Acres Fair Exceptional Rodeo! It’s a day full of sensory friendly carnival and rodeo activities! Experience the sensory friendly time at the carnival rides, rodeo games, activities and some livestock too. Different prizes and lunch will be provided as well.
