Typically, rock will be dumped onto the shoreline and called rip rap. Our process of physically setting the rock in place is not only visually appealing, but it will function to better withstand ice pushes, shoreline erosion, and will prevent much of the rock from tumbling into the water. This is achieved by having our crew get into the water, setting the base rock, hand setting the rocks, then setting the top line to precision. This process is more labor-intense, but it is worth it to do it right and to do it well.
