Ridge Foundation
The Ridge Foundation ensures equitable access to substance abuse treatment and
psychiatric services, regardless of financial constraints.
St Michel Furniture's generosity will surely make a significant difference in the lives of those who will benefit from our NEW inpatient treatment facility. Our new facility is scheduled to open in July 2024. Be on the look out for updates in the coming weeks.
Their donation of beds not only provides physical comfort but also symbolizes a community coming together to support those in need. It's heartwarming to see such acts of kindness making a positive impact on those living and struggling with substance use.
✅Its important to have an understanding of the interconnected nature of mental health and substance abuse.
To address the co-occurring disorders effectively, and ensure treatment that tackles the whole problem.
❗️Community support is essential for local groups committing to focusing on affordable addiction recovery services
because for those without coverage, accessing treatment can be an impossible hurdle.
Without the proper finance, they find themselves trapped in a cycle of addiction and incarceration, unable to break free.
🌏 This is where we need community support and assistance programs as a lifeline..
This support not only provides tangible assistance
in treatment but also sends a powerful message of solidarity and care.
It shows individuals struggling with addiction
and incarceration that they are not alone, that their community values their well-being, and that help is available.
This sense of belonging and support can be a powerful motivator, encouraging individuals to take the brave step towards recovery.
Additionally, by extending a helping hand to those who are not strong enough to lift themselves up, the community actually promotes treatment and reduces the stigma associated with addiction.
♻️This ripple effect of positive change extends beyond the individual, benefiting all of society.
With more individuals able to access treatment, healthier lifestyles are promoted, substance abuse-rated crime decreases,
and a culture of compassion and understanding flourishes.
🌄PROFESSIONALS IN THE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES🌄
often are called upon to utilize their therapeutic experience to support those struggling with addiction.
🌎 They typically possess a unique set of skills and expertise that are invaluable when working with the complex underlying factors contributing to addiction.
🌎 By incorporating evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing,
and trauma-informed care, health care professionals can offer individuals with the support to navigate the challenges of recovery.
🌏 Its important to have an understanding of the interconnected nature of mental health and substance abuse to address co-occurring disorders effectively, and ensure treatment that addresses the entire problem.
