FM Coalition to End Homelessness
The mission of the FM Coalition to End Homelessness is to work in partnership to achieve permanent solutions to prevent and end homelessness.
We are a COALITION working together to develop innovative and compassionate community solutions that lead to housing stability for the areaโs most vulnerable citizens. We are changing the big picture.
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Churches United has been a cornerstone of support in the Fargo-Moorhead community since 1987, providing shelter, food, and hope to those in need. Today, we face an unprecedented crisis that threatens our ability to continue this critical work. Without immediate financial assistance, we will be forced to close our doors.
๐๐๐ซ๐โ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
โข We need to raise $61,000 by noon on Wednesday to pay our dedicated staff.
โข An additional $140,000 is needed by the end of August to keep our operations running.
This is not just about numbers; itโs about the hundreds of individuals and families who rely on us for shelter, food, and a chance at a better life. Without Churches United, many of them will have nowhere else to turn.
Please consider making a donation today. Every dollar counts and will help us continue to serve those who need it most. Together, we can ensure that Churches United remains a beacon of hope in our community.

The City of Fargo and Fargo Cass Public Health will co-host a special documentary screening of โBeyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessnessโ on Tuesday, June 18, 7 p.m., at the Fargo Theatre. A panel discussion is scheduled to immediately follow the screening and will feature James Mathy, Milwaukee County Housing Administrator and author of โMilwaukee Countyโs Plan to end Chronic Homelessnessโ and other local leaders. The documentary showcases how two large cities in America have managed to tackle homelessness, and includes commentary and interviews from service providers, those with lived experience and policy makers, all of whom were asked the question, โHow can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way?โ This unique event is open to the public and is a follow-up to the series of conversations that took place in February, facilitated by Mr. Mathy. You can RSVP for the event on Eventbrite.

WHAT DOES ENDING HOMELESSNESS LOOK LIKE?
Reasons people find themselves without a home will always exist.
But with enough affordable housing in our community, increased employment and income, equity in services and programs, and coordinated service delivery systems, we can make homelessness rare, brief, and one-time for individuals and families in our community -virtually ending long-term homelessness.
Our Coalition of service providers, funders, and Community Members TOGETHER, move forward our mission through advocacy, education, and collaboration.
Our Coalition and Community Members stands strong that this vision can become a reality.
Your support can help make this a reality for all members of the Fargo-Moorhead Metro Area!
