OCFC friends. When a volunteer comes to our closet or they attend an event we are hosting, we all wear OCFC t-shirts. In the past, we have had people purchase them but that isnt the direction we think is best for our organization. We are looking for 2 more people, businesses, or groups to sponsor our shirts. The amount is $400 and we will be purchasing 250 shirts. We are a walking billboard, let us show off your business. If you would like to be a sponsor, please comment below and we will contact you.

All of our proceeds will benefit our new program called Haircare for People Like Me. This is a program that will help educate those dealing with Ethnic hair and provide them the proper products to use for the children's hair. More than half of our clients have Ethnic hair.

The event is at the Delta by Marriott across from the foster closet. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP (only 16 tickets available). Each ticket comes with a Pizza Uno buffet with pasta, cookies and beverages. There will be a cash bar available.
Show that you are not afraid and sit at the VIP table where the action is. There will be up to 9 people in the show. Check-out the VIP package when you purchase your tickets.

We are still needing 2 sponsors to complete our shirt order. Are you interested? It is just $400 to sponsor our shirts. This allows us to give volunteers shirts, which makes it much easier for people to know who to ask for help. If you can be a sponsor, we would greatly appreciate it.

Hello OCFC friends and families. We are in the process of planning our Back to School event and could use a couple more hair stylists. We offer FREE, basic haircuts for kids to get them ready to go back to school. The event is on Sunday August 11th from 1-3 in Farmington Hills. If you are interested in volunteering to cut kids hair, please comment below and I will speak with you regarding all the details.

OCFC families, we have a wonderful donation from a community member. It is a play kitchen and accessories. If there is a lot of interest, we will do a drawing. You must be an active client to be eligible for the drawing.

Calling all parade walkers! The Farmington Founders Fest is coming this Saturday and we are going to be walking in the parade. We would love to have folks join us to hand out candy and flyers to those on the parade route. We will provide everything that you need. Hello friends.. we are in the process of creating the vision for our Forever Home and I am looking for someone who can do a large plaque for the wall. I am looking to create our Donor Wall of Hero's. It will be our logo (clothes hanger) and it will be captioned with something like Friends hanging with us... If anyone has done one of these walls and has any ideas for me, I would appreciate that too.

We are so grateful for the support from the Farmington and Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families. The Farmington and Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth & Families supports programs and provide funds to enrich the lives of youth and families in the communities of Farmington and Farmington Hills. With our grant we are going to purchase a washer and dryer combo to wash clothing that comes in unusable. We will need to raise money to pay for the additional fee to run it.
