Heavy work is important to help regulate and calm the sensory system. Some kids benefit from heavy work in order to provide input to their sensory system to improve focus, regulation, safety, and behavior! Try some of these heavy work activities at home and when out and about!

This month we celebrate these four therapists! Regina celebrates her seventh year making a difference by helping with communication in speech therapy! Dave celebrates six years as the do-it-all man of the office. He works with kiddos who have speech delays, works with insurance companies to get authorization for therapy, and assists with administrative duties in Fayetteville! Lauren has been with us for four years, and she is a fun and creative physical therapist who enjoys treating children of all ages from our littlest babies to our graduating seniors! She assists with administrative duties in our Angier office as Lead Therapist! Morgan is celebrating two years with Therapy Innovations in our Angier office! She is a rockstar occupational therapist who goes above and beyond for all our families. She has a kind heart, and it shows in the success of all her patients from young kids to teenagers who make incredible strides with her guidance!
