Our guest speaker has over 20 years of experience on all seven continents with business training and coaching. This event will cover topics like routes to working abroad, tips for living outside the US, and a Q&A session.

Hey University of Arkansas students, the job hunt can be tough, but watch out for scammers trying to take advantage! Fake job offers are a real thing, and they can trick you into giving away personal information or even steal your money.

Here are some red flags to watch out for:

Too Good to Be True? It Probably Is: Huge salaries for minimal work? No experience needed? Hit the brakes! Legitimate jobs require effort and qualifications.

Shady Money Moves: Never send money or deposit checks for a job. They might ask you to "forward" a portion of a check - it's a scam!

Personal Info is Off-Limits: Legitimate employers won't need your Social Security number or other sensitive info during the application process.

The job will begin on the first day of fall classes and will last throughout the academic year. The primary responsibilities will include answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling career counseling appointments.

The STEM Career Fair is today at Bud Walton Arena! Even though it's a beautiful day, you don't have to walk all the way there. Here's how to use our shuttle!

🚍 The shuttle picks up at BELL (Dickson side) starting at 9:15 AM for Tau Beta Pi students and 9:30 for everyone.

🍕 The last pick-up before lunch break will be at 11:30 AM and pickup will resume at 12:45 PM.

📍 The last shuttle will leave BELL at 3 PM and the last return will depart Bud Walton Arena at 4 PM.

The Career Studio will be CLOSED today, March 13 for the STEM Fair.

A huge thank you to the artists, organizations, and attendees who made the Careers in the Arts Fair a success! We look forward to fostering the future of the arts together!

HEADS UP!

The STEM Career Fair is happening inside Bud Walton Arena WEDNESDAY (3/13) and will take place in two different sessions running from 10am-12pm and 1-3:30pm. Students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math fields should attend this fair to connect with 100+ employers hiring for full-time, part-time, co-op, and internship opportunities. Business Casual Attire REQUIRED to attend.
