Introducing Pick One! Are you an incoming first year student? Read below to learn more about this program and sign up! ⬇️
For a new student, navigating college can feel like a lot. With so many things being new, there is one thing that you can do right away that will be a major help during your transition into college: getting involved! Students who get involved and connect with others over shared interests and goals are more successful Razorbacks. The Pick One initiative is here to help you get involved quickly and easily to help you get you acclimated to your new home on the Hill. All incoming first-year students are encouraged to pick just one involvement group from a select list of programs to connect with other new students and a support network who will support you during your transition to the Razorback community this fall. Don't wait too long though, the last day to Pick One is July 31st

The office of New Student & Family Programs is excited to host an inaugural celebration to honor the successes of graduating first-generation students and their families! We define “first-generation” as someone whose parents/guardians did not graduate from a 4-year college.
We understand the journey it takes to be the first in your family to graduate from college and it is an accomplishment that deserves to be celebrated! The Graduating First-Generation Student Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 11 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM with remarks at 6:30 PM by Chancellor Robinson and other guests. A location will be sent to students after they RSVP.
During the celebration students will receive a “First-Generation Graduate” silver stole that they are encouraged to wear at the celebration and their commencement. First-Generation graduates can RSVP themselves and guests at the link in our LinkTree by Monday, May 8th. We look forward to celebrating all of your accomplishments!
If you have any questions, please contact Emily Cook, Assistant Director, at [email protected] or (479)575-5002.
