Tonight as I was thinking about the times in which I have found myself asking God for forgiveness for the same things once more, my phone vibrates. It’s the Bible app and although I love and encourage us to read from our physical Bibles, wouldn’t you know God used to bring me an encouraging word! God is good!🙌

Destiny Rescue is coming to YG @ LifeWay! Join us tonight as we discuss some of the darker sides of this broken world in which we live! Tonight is going to be an opportunity for real talk, but the good news is, the hope we have in Jesus is not extinguish by the darkness, but it is the light that will put out the darkness! I would encourage all students to come prepared with a heart of sympathy, and a mind prepared to reach the world with the gospel! It is only through Jesus that we, and the world, have any hope. See you there!

Who is ready for Saturday’s kick off?!?!? PAINT WARS is going down this Saturday from 11-1. Come dressed for the occasion! (paint says it shouldn’t stain but…) food will be provided by chick-fil-a, Ezell’s Chicken, and Honeybear!! Games, prizes, and so much fun!

🚨🚨CAMP UPDATE🚨🚨 Today is the last full day of FUGE! After a night of praise and worship we transitioned into some epic relay games!!! The students (and us leaders😝) had an awesome time! Students mentioned that some of the highlights were the pie face game and the over - under banana game! Today’s devotional focus is on RISK. What are we willing to risk in order to share the gospel? Our pride? Our status? What about friendships? God asks us to risk it all because He GAVE IT ALL! It’s been an amazing time here at FUGE and we are all looking forward to coming back next year!
Things to remember-
-We are leaving roughly around noon tomorrow so, after stopping for lunch we are looking at a 4 o’clock arrival.

Hey everyone! Greetings from FUGE! Last night was epic! Neon Glow dance party with some friendly trivia competition!😝 Our focus yesterday was on repentance and our desperate need for Jesus and the redemption He offers us! The students were invited to the front to kneel down and just talk to God. To ask Him for forgiveness for themselves and others. Most of our students made their way up there! Today we turn the page on events here at FUGE and begin new activities so all of the students are really excited for that! More to come later! Please keep praying for our students. Specifics to pray for include: Focus, especially during discussion times, willingness to wrestle with their faith, and just that this week would have a deep and lasting impact on our student’s lives! Praise God in all things! Believing in big things this week!

As we wrap up day 2 of Camp we are focusing on sacrifice! Sacrificing the things we are able (time, effort, love, money, etc. ) in order to show others the love of Christ that came from His ultimate sacrifice! The students enjoyed their first day of track activities (elective activities that they got to sign up for) as well as our church was selected to go float the river today! It’s been a blast! Please keep praying for our students to experience God in a real way and as they reflect on His sacrifice may they be shown what they can sacrifice for His glory!

Hey parents!
As we get ready to embark on our youth camp adventure at Fuge in Oregon, I just want to remind us of a few things!

1- Please do not forget to send your camper with the required forms and money do if still necessary. Without the forms we cannot get your student into camp.

2- please make sure and re-check the packing list to ensure that your student is best prepared for their week at camp. It is very difficult to find a sleeping bag when you’re out in the middle of the woods.😂

3- please make sure that your student has money for food on the way there, snacks while there, and food on the way home. We will be stopping in both directions to grab a bite to eat.

4- lastly, but most importantly, please be praying for all of the students at Fuge this week. Your student and all of the students who are there, please be praying that they will have an encounter with our Lord and Savior and that this week will be a blessing on their lives! We are believing in big things for this week for our students, for LifeWay as a church, and for the future of the Church as a whole!

I love you all please be praying for me as well lol but I will be posting updates as I am able. And we will see everyone next week!

We had a blast celebrating some of our High school Grads last night! We are proud of you and are excited to see what God will do and where he will take you in this next season of life! 🎉🎉

Don’t forget about grad night tonight! We’ll see you there at 5:30 for dinner and join us as we celebrate our graduates!
