Everything is definitely bigger in Texas! Shout out to Big Lou's Pizza guys for carrying out our 🍕 pizzas! Our bunnies were so excited to hear we won our Nexion funniest video contest! Yay! 🎉 Our prize was a pizza party, and boy do we mean a pizza party for a bunch! Everyone enjoyed pizza! Our bunnies, our staff and of course our residents! Thank you Nexion Health, we at Prairie Meadows loved our pizza party!

Happy National Police 👮♀️ week! We started off by dropping off some sandwiches 🥪, chips and donuts for our Floresville police department. Thank you for watching over our city!

We started off National skilled nursing care week off by having a small parade. Thank you Frank Tejeda Veterans home, Floresville Residence and Rehabilitation center and New Haven assisted living for joining us. All our nursing homes will have a week filled with fun all week. Show your support and come by to any facility and visit. Thank you Wilson County sheriff’s department for joining us and keeping our residents safe.
🌟 What a magical prom night it was! ✨ Everyone looked absolutely stunning and dapper while posing for pictures. A heartfelt thank you to each and every person who made this event possible, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply being there to share in the joy.
Special thanks to the Pruski family for their generous donation, cooking, and delivering delicious sausage. Huge shoutout to Squeak Convenience Store for providing the exciting door prizes, Suncrest Hospice for the mouthwatering pizzas, and Trinity Hospice for the refreshing sodas.
A big round of applause for Vita's Hospice (Eddie) for the delightful cookies and for dancing with our residents, as well as Heart to Heart Hospice for the tasty pretzel sticks. Councilwoman Jessica Rodriguez, Dio Rodríguez, Karen Guerrero, and CMMC, your contributions and support truly made a difference!
Gratitude to Mayor Cissy Gonzalez-Dippel, City Manager Andy Joslin, Chief of Police Anthony Flores, and the City of Floresville for their presence and generosity. And let's not forget Celina, Monica, and the setup team for their hard work, as well as Roli-Poli and Fermin Rocha for the amazing music that kept us dancing all night long!
A heartfelt thank you to the Prairie Meadows staff for helping our residents get dressed in the beautiful donated dresses and ensuring their safety throughout the event. Kudos to Tina and ART for their coordination and safe transportation arrangements, and to Hope, Ana, and Linda for serving the delicious plates. Special thanks to Erica for her help with everything, and to Adrianna Jaramillo for capturing all the wonderful moments through her photography!

We had a wonderful time visiting our small town neighbors last week. We picked up some ice cream from Dairy Queen and just enjoyed the scenery and stopped at a few places to take pictures.

We enjoyed going to the AACOG Roadshow. Great Senior community information for our seniors still living at home or for those in a nursing home. The Food bank gave away large bags of potatoes and other vegetables. ART discussed possible free transportation in our community. There are so many resources out there that I’m sure not many people know about. Our city manager Andy Joslin, Chief of police Anthony Flores , councilwoman Bea Ximenez and our soon to be Mayor Gloria Morales Cantu visited will the Senior community. Veronica Arriaga does a wonderful job with our seniors.

Thank you giggles and smiles learning center for bringing your little reindeers to Prairie Meadows! Our residents love it ❤️ when the children give them all 🤗 hugs! They were all too cute and sang like they were big kids. Thank you again and we look forward to your next visit!
