Congratulations to two of our Stewart Center alumni, Dr. Kellye Rice and Dr. Cristin Lewis. They sat for their diplomat status exam with the American Sleep and Breathing Academy last year, and they were awarded their diplomat status at the annual meeting today. We are so proud of you both!

Over the years Sharon’s bite and dentition have been destroyed. She suffered from TMJ pain, and tinnitus, jaw/neck/shoulder tension for as long as she can remember. She tried treating it with chiropractic care, but if never got down to the root issue.

When she was told her implants were starting to fail she was at a loss on what to do. After she found Dr. Stewart and was seated into the Condylar Centering Orthotic (C2O) she immediately felt the tension easing. The first night she slept better, and woke up the next morning with no neck pain. She finally felt like she had an even bite, and could chew on both sides! After C2O therapy Sharon will be fully restored, as minimally invasively as possible.

Another successful course! We had a great TMJ Stabilization Therapy weekend with lots of powerful lectures and hands on time in the clinic.

Stewart Center Alumni, Dr. Alan Rosen gave a virtual presentation today to our current residents. With modern technology we were able to take him around to say hi!

Our first alumni study club of the year is off to a great start! Tonight Dr. Stewart is covering Optimal Airway, Optimal Function, and then we will see a case presentation by one of our alumni!

Dr. Stewart is an affiliate with The Breathe Institute, has completed his surgical residency under Dr. Zaghi, and has been doing tongue releases for several years. The Breathe Institute is an amazing place, and life changing for the doctors going through it. But what do you do after you’ve expanded and improved the airway of your patient?

At The Stewart Center we have developed a special program that teaches you the final step. We teach joint stabilization, clear aligner therapy to create the ideal inter arch relationship, minimally invasive composite additive restorations to solidify the occlusion, and more.

One of the questions Dr. Stewart often hears after a doctor has expanded a patient is, “what’s next?” The patient has been successfully expanded, but now the teeth and the TMJ need to be considered.

At The Stewart Center we have developed a program that teaches what to do in the next phase. Residents will learn how to restore occlusion back to optimal esthetics and function.
