Hello,
I would like to clarify from the PLANNING AND ZONING OFFICE for Monroe County that should Bucees submit a zoning application it will go through the Zoning process. Two public hearings will be scheduled and the public is welcome to attend. The lot they’ve shown interest in, is zoned commercial—but because of the size of the building they’ve mentioned it exceeds permitted uses they must apply for a Special Use.

Our office has received the conceptual plan for Lamar County's proposed development. Being our neighboring county it is important that we all know the information. Again, this is for Lamar County--our office does not have any applications at this time in Monroe County.
