This Norcross renovation project evolved a family home from a simple ranch-style to an energy-efficient mid-century modern home that entirely embraces and protects nature. This is the type of work we love. We get to consciously consider resources as we blend your needs with top industry standards.

Maybe we win an award along the way, too! This home was rebuilt to the strict requirements of the National Green Building Standard’s Bronze Level and won the NAHB’s Best in Green Remodeling Award. That is not easy to come by, so we are thankful for that recognition.

Modeling how the sun angles will interplay with a custom home we are just breaking ground on....can you see the difference?

In our hot Texas climate, we are always looking to keep the sun out of the home as much as possible during the summer (reduce cooling loads), while allowing it in during winter months (assist with heating) as part of an integrated passive solar design.

Here’s a sneak peek into an art studio we have underway where this air gap detail was incorporated in order to create better air flow between the SIP roof and metal roofing (which will be installed soon).
