Impact day 2!

Service isn't just something we do—it's a reflection of our passion for living out God's calling. On this second day of IMPACT, we dove deeper into what it means to be truly *Committed to Service*—one of our core values. Through hands-on projects, prayer, and reflection, our students discovered that serving others isn't just a responsibility; it's a joy and an opportunity to show Christ’s love in action.

Two organizations that our school served during this IMPACT was Operation Gratitude, where students decorated pillowcases that will be sent to service members overseas. We also got to bless Care Net Pregnancy Center, creating cookie bags for the moms that are part of the community.

Today, we reminded ourselves that our faith is made stronger when we step out and serve, knowing that in every act of kindness, we are serving Him.

Impact day 1! It was a fun-filled day for all our students and staff. God is moving and showing up in many ways. We are excited for day 2!

A special thanks to Calvary Church for blessing our faculty and staff with encouragement and donuts the week before school. A wonderful encouragement as we start our school year and seeing God’s plan for the school year. Thank you!

We are excited to announce our new 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Reed! Mrs. Reed has been a New Life Ram for awhile and we are excited to have her in this new position.

Her favorite verse is: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here I am, Lord. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

She says she is excited to return to the classroom as the 3rd grade teacher. She loves teaching at a Christian school and sharing with her students how God works in all areas of our lives.

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Destiny Bohrer to New Life Christian School! Ms. Bohrer will be teaching 5th grade this school year.

We are thrilled to welcome former Technology Director, Steve Stupar as our new Dean of Students! Mr. Stupar has brought a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our Ram community for seven years. He is eager to work closely with our upper elementary, middle, and high school students, supporting them in their academic and faith journeys.

Mr. Stupar holds ACSI Principal Certification, and he is an alumnus of Shepherd University. His leadership will continue to be a great asset to our school and look forward to the positive impact he will continue to have on our students.

Mr. Stupar’s favorite verse is, Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

A big Ram Welcome to our new Administrative Assistant/Medication Technician, Ms. Abby Nunez! Her favorite bible verse is Psalm 37:4 “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.”

Ms. Nunez has been in ministry for the past seven years and she is currently the leader for the Youth and Young Adult Ministry at her church. Ms. Nunez says,“I am most excited to meet new people, to grow in knowledge and skills in this new position and to be able to walk together with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.”

Please welcome our new Spanish Teacher, Linda Gaviria! Ms. Gaviria has 15 years of experience in the field of education.

She told us, "As a former NLCS student, it brings me joy to be able to teach at the school where I have so many wonderful memories. The Spanish language is incredibly valuable in today's world, and I am excited for the opportunity to teach the students a new language. I am excited to introduce them to new cultures and foster their appreciation and understanding of other traditions around the world. I look forward to my journey at New Life!"

Ms. Gaviria’s favorite bible verse is Mark 10:27, “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.’” Welcome to the RAMS TEAM!

We are excited to welcome Ms. Thomas to the Rams Family! Ms. Thomas will be teaching 2nd grade.

She graduated with a Bachelor's in Literature and Education, and a Masters in Library Science. She is excited about teaching in a Christian environment and being able to incorporate the word of God into her lessons.

Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7- “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Nia Shorts to the Ram Family! Ms. Shorts will be teaching 3rd grade.

She graduated from Towson University and she is excited to help deepen students’ relationships with the Lord as well as further their education so that they can go out and make disciples of all nations!

Her favorite bible verse is Matthew 6:33- “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Coach Lynott's coaching career has been nothing short of remarkable. From leading Middletown High School football to multiple state titles to achieving significant milestones with the ladies' basketball program at Brunswick HS, his record speaks volumes.
