We are making bird feeders. I wonder what bird varieties will come by for a visit?

We learned how to make butter with heavy whipping cream. Our entire day is filled with STEAM related fun activities.

So on Friday what are you doing? We are having fun with farm animals and enjoying pony rides.

We practice milking a cow with a glove. How cool.

We made a peek-a-boo barn as we ware learning about the farm and some animals found there

We were learning about how blood flows in our body and tried experimenting the same using celery.

Morning meeting time. We get so excited to discover what we will be learning each day.

In art we love it that we get to use different materials to be creative. We used bubble wrap to create corn kernels.

Today we learned about different routes and types of transportation that we can use to get from home to school

We love our Yoga time with Ms. Olga.

We are counting and writing our number. Mathematics is a great way to grow our understanding of numerical relationships and helps grow our Executive Functioning skills.

we sorted animals by color. We counted each and determined what color had the most and what color had the least animals.

The Goddard School of Alexandria (Old Town), VA, is now open! Congratulations to owners Akhil and Madhu Govil. This is the fourth location for the co-owners, who also own The Goddard School of Ashburn, The Goddard School of Ashburn Leesburg, and The Goddard School of Waldorf.

As owners & grandparents, their goal is to continue to provide a foundation of learning to all the young children in Alexandria who are the beacon of the great future. They are excited for the opportunity and look forward to serving the Old Town Alexandria community.

We are so interested in learning about seeds and how after planting and caring for them that they can grow into some amazing things.

We finally had a chance to plant our cucumber seeds. We can't wait to see what happens.
