SJRCS is excited to participate in the Harlem Wizards vs Team Frederick Game at FCC on Saturday, November 9th where our very own Mrs. Hanner will be playing! This charity event supports 3 local non-profits that help serve at-risk youth in our community. An added bonus, $3 of every ticket purchased by our SJRCS community will be donated back to the school! These funds will be used towards enriching our Garden Committee!

Our Viking student-athletes are volunteering their time at the Frederick Key's Baseball concession stand to help raise funds for their sports programs in the 2024-2025 school year. Yesterday, the Boys' Lacrosse Team worked at the game. Support our Viking student-athletes and be sure to attend one of their many exciting games this school year. Go Vikings!

Today, we honor the 250th birthday of our Patron Saint and Foundress, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton! Her legacy lives on in the teachers, staff, and students at Mother Seton School, and we are proud to call her ours. The cafeteria has a special treat for students today in celebration!💚💙

Happy Feast of St. Augustine AND the First Day of School! Today STMA welcomed new and returning students for the start of the 24-25 academic year. The weather was nice so we gathered outside around our flag pole for morning prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. It’s great to be back!!!

Deacon Cosentino will perform a Blessing of the Backpacks on the first day of school - tomorrow at 11:15am.

Our Mon/Wed/Fri Pre-K friends will have their backpacks blessed during the Blessing of the PreK Playground, which Deacon Cosentino will perform on Wednesday!

Msgr. Baker has been an extraordinary rector of the Mount St. Mary's Seminary and will certainly be missed. We send our prayers to him and to the Mount family🙏
