Getting a huge kick out of listening to our very discriminating staff taste test the new hand pies in our shop and basically lose their minds. From the kitchen I hear “OMG!” + “This is INCREDIBLE!”+ “I cannot believe how good this is.” + “Look at the whole fruits in this pie!!” + “She is an amazing baker.”

Staff highlight! We are delighted to feature our longest-serving staff member, Josie!!

Josie has worked at Wanderlust since we opened under new ownership in June, 2022. She is senior at Freeport High School, an accomplished runner, and a captain of the Falcon cross country team and track teams. She is a cherished member of Wanderlust staff, and guests frequently comment on what a friendly and kind person she is. She goes above and beyond with her commitment to hospitality and outstanding service, and we are lucky to have her on the team.

In addition to being an athlete, Josie is also a gifted artist and has recently been using her talents to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handmade sterling silver jewelry. Scroll for the photos! Wow!
