Walking is one of the easiest forms on exercise! You don’t need to pay gym memberships fees or have any fancy equipment, just need a good pair of shoes. The best thing is you can do it just about anywhere!

1) Walking is one of the most effective low-impact ways to burn calories. On average you can burn 135 calories walking for 30 minutes.

2) Studies have been shown that walking can help you feel more relaxed, reduce stress, and fight depression. So, instead of grabbing that chocolate to get a little pep, try going for a walk to help improve your attitude.


3) Walking is a low-impact exercise so less stress on those joints. Any movement helps lubricate your joints, which decreases pain and stiffness.

With more of us still working from home we are finding ourselves doing a lot more sitting! It might be hard to believe that spending too much time sitting can possible damage your body as much as smoking to***co.

1. Your metabolism can slow down. Decrease muscle use can lead to slower clearance of fat.

3. Less energy, Sitting too much means less moving. Going for a light walk, can up our energy levels.

3. Bad posture. More pressure is put on lumbar disc when sitting. This causes the pelvis to rotate backwards, and also lead to your head moving forward.

4. Mental health suffers. Studies show sitting indoors can reduce psychological well-being.

5. Increase risk of heart disease. A sedentary lifestyle is tied with a higher risk of hear problems.
