To the entire Skills and Drills Charity Soccer Tournament community, a whole-hearted thank-you! It is truly incredible what this soccer community pulls off every year. Raising the benchmark in their generous donations and attracting many new players, teams, and supporters to join the movement. Soccer & Seva

It was truly an incredible day! High energy and great vibes. Families, friends, and supporters lined the fields to cheer on the players. brought the heat with his great turntable skills. Sevadars served langar all day provided by families, , and New India Sweet which kept everyone re-fueled. 

3 generations took to the fields bringing their professional skills in intense-filled matches all day while also uniting, rekindling, and making new friends all for the love of soccer and a desire to make a meaningful impact in someone’s life. 28 teams came together to play in 3 divisions. Open, 35+, 50+, and there were kids matches in-between.  

Together they raised $26,000! This collective effort will make a huge impact and go a long way in providing a ray of hope, opportunity, and support for those lives desperately needing a helping hand. We appreciate your trust and continued support.

Join us on August 10th (11am-2pm) for an opportunity to connect our elders with community, outside of family functions! Lunch will be provided, and games/entertainment will no doubt have our mothers, grandmothers, neighbors, and friends create truly special memories.

First Sahaita Inc monthly medical and mental health clinic at Bradshaw Gurughar in Sacramento area. This adds on to our ongoing monthly such clinic at Stockton Gurughar every first Sunday of the month. Bradshaw will be every third Sunday of the month. It was very nice turnout for a first time clinic. We are very thankful to all the volunteers who spared time to support this cause.

We care about these young souls to help prepare them for future. Helping do task which are important for routine life. We are proud partners with YFC Rurka Kalan and together we aspire to help and support rehabilitation of young and elderly souls to be able to have life of little independence.

Today Sahaita inc will hold its Health wellness clinic at Bradshaw Gurughar. We appreciate this collective initiative with Gurughar Management. Hopefully we will be able to help some community members in guiding a better healthy living.

Special thanks to our Board member Preet Johal for coordinating between physicians and the Gurdwara committee for these monthly health clinics & quarterly mental health discussions.

The official sign is up! Sahaita Toronto’s dedicated team member Karmjit Gill has been cleaning this park along with 3 other parks/trails for over 5 years now on a daily basis! He has been our inspiration behind our Project clean initiative where the team runs numerous clean drives throughout the year. When he heads out in the mornings he meets many individuals and some whom he has inspired to start im their neighbourhoods.

We want to thank Regional Counciler Dennis Keenan for his support and the City of Brampton supporting staff. Last year we held the official inauguration as well where Deputy Mayor Harkirat Singh and Gurpartap Toor also came out to support. 🙏🏼

Project Clean aims to keep our shared parks and trails clean, green and safe, protect our ecosystems, ravines and drains from pollution, and promote light exercise as outdoors is good for the health and heart. Sahaita is proud of such students, who made us feel proud. Sneha, one of our students, stood 4th in Punjab school education board exams in non med stream.Sahaita thanks from the core of heart,the donors, well-wishers and supporters for their blessings.It really makes much difference in the career of a child .

We will like to invite Sacramento and surrounding areas communities to our Sacramento Event. This is reintroducing Sahaita given there is lot of new people who are residents of Sacramento areas now and since for last 4 years we lost touch due to Covid time. We will appreciate your kind support to reenergise volunteers and continue humanitarian activities. Thank you so much.

Diljot Sharma: Sholian wali kudi : This is how I remember her when we met her first time in 2015 at home visit. Good student who was later enrolled in Nursing college but left after few months as could not live away from her mother who was sick. Did her BA and wanted to do Law and Now after finishing Law Degree she is inducted into Bar council of the Punjab and Haryana. A student leader and activist who is one of few students who kept in touch regularly. Wishing her success if her carrier.

Join us at the Stockton Gurdwara Sahib for Sahaita’s Health & Wellness Clinic!

We will be holding these clinics the first Sunday of every month starting April 7, 2024 at the Stockton Gurdwara from 10 am to 1 pm. You can come to discuss any health issues with our physicians and get your blood pressure and blood glucose screening done. Our goal is to promote general wellbeing and encourage the community to prioritize mental and physical health!

Starting May 5th, we will be holding quarterly Mind Matters discussions in the Main Hall, where you can engage in meaningful mental wellness discussions with licensed and certified mental health professionals!

Our amazing volunteers, new and seasoned, sorted and packed baby essentials for our 8th annual Baby Clothing Drive! We broke a new record of 60 boxes for families in need. The boxes were requested via and donated to these local organizations:

👶🏽 Parisi House on the Hill (residential drug & alcohol treatment center for women & children)

Thank you all for joining the general body meeting today. Apart from sharing information about last year and our plans for next year the most useful was the discussion we had in the Q&A. Lot of ideas on how we can improve our current processes and what are some of the new projects we can take on going forward. We will continue to share info on how you can get involved.
