The due date for student laptops is May 6th, don't forget to return or renew your laptop at one of the GSCC Libraries by then! If you want to renew your laptop, you must already be registered for classes for the Summer 2024 semester.

Finals are almost here, and that means it's time for Study Break at the GSCC Libraries! The libraries are once again so happy to provide free refreshments for our students, so stop by and enjoy a snack and a drink as you take a break or refuel for studying!

February is Black History Month! To celebrate the occasion, the Ayers LRC is excited to bring a month of film offerings to our students, faculty, and staff! Throughout the entire month, we will be showing an array of movies, television, and documentaries to highlight Black History Month. Please stop by and enjoy these free film offerings with us, and remember that food and drinks are welcomed during the marathon!

February is American Heart Month, and to celebrate, the GSCC Libraries are happy to participate in Wear Red Day! It takes place on February 2nd, but in order to allow for greater participation, Gadsden State is celebrating Wear Red Day on both Feb. 1st and 2nd to promote heart health awareness. Go Red!

Beat the rush! Visit one of the GSCC Libraries to return or renew your student laptop before the December 18th due date! You must be registered for classes for Spring 2024 in order to renew your laptop.

With the holiday season upon us, it's the perfect time to enjoy a cozy movie night! The Cherokee Library even has some terrific movie adaptations on offer, so you can enjoy some of your favorite stories and how they've been adapted for the screen!

Halloween is tomorrow, so it's the perfect time to enjoy some of the spooky and suspenseful books and movies that the GSCC Libraries have to offer!

We had a great time helping out with Candy with the Cardinals at the Ayers Campus, and the event was a ton of fun, even when the Dean-o-saur crashed the party!

We know the busyness of life can be stressful, so don't forget to take a few moments in your day to relax and de-stress! The GSCC Libraries want to help with that, so pay us a visit and Color Your Way to Calm!

Yesterday was Senior Citizens Day, and August is Senior Citizens Month! Learning, growth, and accomplishment are lifelong endeavors, so we love a chance to highlight individuals who made great contributions to the world as senior citizens!

Don't forget, student laptops are due by August 9th! You can return or renew them at any of the GSCC Libraries. In order to renew, you must already be registered for classes for the Fall 2023 semester.
