For today’s homeschool hour we will be making fall themed bird feeders that involve peanut butter; We ask for anyone with a peanut allergy to be cautious and careful.

We still have plenty of fall variety seeds left if you didn’t get a chance to stop by yesterday. Come see us anytime between 10am-2pm today and grab some for your garden! 🍂

If you're in high school and interested in making a difference in your city, here's your chance!

Recently, the Gadsden City Council approved Mayor Ford's proposal to form a Gadsden City Youth Council as a way to advise the mayor and city council on issues facing young people in the city.

To be eligible, you must be:
• A resident of Gadsden
• Age 14-18
• In grades 10-12

Members will be nominated by the mayor and approved by the City Council. The Youth Council will meet monthly and present a Youth Master Plan to benefit young people at a meeting in Spring 2025.

The deadline to apply is noon on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024.
