We’re closing up for a few weeks to give our restaurant an update inside and create a new dining room. We’re so excited to work toward indoor dining again and finishing our vision of a neighborhood pizzeria that I think you all will love.
Your support this last year has filled our hearts. Thank you so, so much Pleasant Street Neighborhood and everyone in the GNV.

New Verdura pizza!
Braised collards, shaved Parmesan, thin red onion, almonds, and olive oil.

Menu update
Collards on the menu! We’re having trouble getting quality broccoli rabe, so back to my roots with collards. Verdura pizza with collards and almonds and the Collard Melt with tempeh and provolone or cashew mozz. 😊

Pasta Fagioli, open at 4:00!
Rustic bean and bacon soup with ditalini pasta and veggies, one of my favorites. $4 cup, $6 bowl, $12qt, $2 with sandwich instead of slaw.

We follow strict Covid guidelines and both Patty and I are in the Novavax vaccine trial and have received both doses. They’re still looking for participants at SIMED Health, 352-727-7000.

Meatball Puccia sandwich
Grass fed beef from Alachua and pork from Marcinek Farms with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and basil.

New Sourdough Puccia sandwiches! And a few other updates including:
-Updated salads and dressings
-Broccoli Rabe side is larger, good for 2-3
-New white pie(pizza) and fennel pizza

5 1/2” sourdough rounds for sandwiches starting Monday! Still in the test kitchen a couple more days, menu will be posted when finalized. We’re so excited 😆

Sourdough Puccia sandwiches starting next week! Very similar to focaccia with a good chew to the crust. This is house-made mozzarella with tomatoes, basil, and olive oil. So good 😊

I’ve wanted to expand the menu and need time to test some ideas, it’ll be worth it! Stay tuned!
