Our children are learning about dental health care and discovering new ways to keep their teeth clean. They are becoming aware of the importance of brushing and flossing to prevent cavities and strengthen their gums.
In school, they have been making models of teeth and experimenting with different techniques for cleaning them. It's great to see our children developing healthy habits from such a young age, and we're confident that this will have a positive impact on their oral health for years to come. At home, we've also been encouraging them to eat nutritious foods that promote strong teeth, such as fruits and vegetables, and to limit sugary snacks and treats that can be bad for their teeth.
We're proud of the way our children are taking charge of their own health and can't wait to see them smile brightly for years to come.
Congratulations on the groundbreaking ceremony for Prek Chik Funan Techo on August 5, 2024. We gathered staff, teachers, and students for the official ceremony at our school campus.
We're grateful to Michael and Michele Halls for their time, energy, and generosity. Their team's projects have made a significant impact, and we appreciate their dedication.
As a valued partner, we're excited to share updates on the projects they've supported, which have enabled us to expand our reach and serve more communities in need. We're committed to transparency and accountability, and we're honored to have them as part of our community.
Thank you for their kindness, compassion, and generosity, which will have a lasting impact for years to come. We're grateful to have them by our side as we strive to create a brighter, more compassionate world.
Sustainable Cambodia, great thanks to Emily Margulis and the Merrick team for providing our villagers with wonderful water filters. Thanks to their efforts, our families now enjoy healthier lives. 😊
Water filtration is a great initiative for rural families to access clean water and prevent harmful bacteria in the water. This effort significantly helps needy families lead healthier lives. Additionally, by offering convenient access to clean water via filtration systems, rural families can see a notable enhancement in their well-being and quality of life. This enduring solution not just lessens the threat of waterborne diseases but also enables communities to grow and succeed. Thank you, Rotary Club of Arlington Heights.

Happy Khmer New Year!
Khmer New Year is a very special time of the year in Cambodia. Many families host parties, and hire large sets of speakers to play dance music and entertain their guests and neighbors. Businesses will often throw parties for their staff and give presents and provide food. With the tragic events of the Khmer Rouge and the following civil war still within living memory, the opportunity for spending time with family and celebrating peace, long-life and prosperity is very important for many people. It is common for families to open their houses to visitors to join their celebrations and they are often are delighted to have international guests sharing in their celebrations.
