We are all shocked that poor sweet Ollie is still waiting for his furever home.
Check out the adorable videos of him playing ball!

HapPei 4th of July!
Great reminders from an amazing rescue group!
It doesn't happen overnight.
We felt this was important to share! We've had so many dogs get adopted (yay!) only to be returned less than 48 hours later. Remember, you have to give them time to settle in and decompress.
They may pant, pace, try to escape, refuse to eat, cry when you leave. These behaviors do NOT mean they don't like it at your house! This is normal for a scared dog when in a new place. We also have trainers here who can chat with you as your new dog adjusts to your home and routine. Just give them a chance, a REAL chance. Many of them have never been in a home before - that's who we are - we're STRAY Rescue! We have been rescuing from the streets for years and years and years and placing pups in homes! Just have a little bit of patience and an open mind ready to receive advice. Then we have absolutely no doubt it will be the greatest thing that has ever happened to you (and them!)

HANK UPDATE!
Hank, Hankapotymous, the Hankster!
He’s the boy that some wonderful people came together to trap and save, a great public shelter, and our awesome foster volunteer Christopher Hizer stepped up to help.
It’s difficult to take pics of crazy dogs playing, but Hank’s new human snapped some pics of this sweet boy playing with his new fur sister Raven 😍. He’s learning the ropes and feeling safe and happy, and we couldn’t be more pleased! Note that Soldier the cat finds their dog antics unworthy of attention, but we think they are adorable!
Pei people! We need a foster or adopter for LuLu the lilac. She is presently in Terra Haute, Indiana. Transport can be arranged. She’s a tiny princess at only 35lbs, and prefers to be an only child. See linked post in comments.

Harry enjoys his retirement by plopping down in the sun wherever he pleases at his foster home. Do you have space and love for a sweet older man with plenty of s***k left? When not napping, he’ll gladly follow you around the house, enjoy his meals, and doesn’t even mind a cat roommate! Visit https://floridasharpeirescue.com/harry/
We are saddened by the loss of Morgan, to an unresolvable issue involving his spleen. His foster daddies held him and said goodbye.
Gabby made fast friends with Stewart/Stuart, and guess what? Gabby & Stu man were adopted TOGETHER! A pair o’ Pei is always the best option!

After we play, we nap.
Love, Gabby & Morgan
We’ve not received any applications for these adorable duo, despite their good looks, sweet demeanors, and sad story. They are safe with Thomas Nicolaus-Ziri, but this takes up roster space to save other dogs, and these two would be so easy to integrate into a new forever home. They love other dogs too!

Handsome Hank is learning that things like car rides aren’t scary… just testing out sitting in the car with foster dad. Who wants to show this boy many wonderful adventures?

Hello Pei People! This handsome young boy, Cy, was rescued in the panhandle in Florida, and the wonderful human asked for assistance in finding him a proper forever home. As you can see, he does great with big dogs! Please contact Rachel at [email protected] for inquiries and information!
So, Hank wants you to know that he agreed to sit nicely after only one day in his foster home, he loves to play with other dogs, and he is even willing to wait for a cue that it’s time to chow down on dinner. He would like to share his hunky Hank portfolio of pics at http://floridasharpeirescue.com/hank/
Seriously! How handsome is he?
