Online shopping is open for 48 hours after the event start and ends at 12 pm on Monday, August 19th. In-person shopping will take place from 12 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, August 17th.

We are so excited to share that El Swampitan, the 24hr top rope competition hosted by The Knot climbing gym is taking place AGAIN this year on July 20th and 21st! This competition gives competitors the chance to test their limits with an opportunity to climb 3000 feet in less than 24 hours. All funds raised from this competition will benefit the Climb for Cancer Foundation.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Climbers will compete in teams of 2 and have 24 hours to complete 3000 feet of climbing (100 top rope routes) to simulate El Capitan in Yosemite National Park.

🔗 After signing up, teams will be provided with a link to set up a page to fundraise money for The Climb For Cancer Foundation.

🤲 In lieu of a registration fee, teams will be required to fundraise a minimum of $100 to participate in the competition.

🏆 The participants on the highest fundraising team will each win an annual pass to the U.S. National Parks as well as prizes from our sponsors. Prizes will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place for fundraising, the top 3 fastest teams to complete the challenge, and the team that completed the most routes in under 24 hours.

🤍 Anyone can purchase a day pass to the gym to check out the gym and get a look at this event, open on July 20th from 12 pm to 10 pm. All funds from day passes will be donated to the Climb for Cancer Foundation.

Two of our board members, Dan Rodkin and Jacob Poulalion, as well as one of our cofounders, Ron Farb, joined the students for a weekend of climbing, team building, reflection, and challenging themselves at the “little Grand Canyon” of the southeast!
