First off I’d like to thank my USF athletes, friends, family the entire athletics department and community back in San Francisco - without you none of this is possible.
With that being said I’d like to say a special thanks to Duke Warner, Coach Todd Golden and the rest of the University of Florida athletics family involved in my hiring process for this incredible opportunity to be the Director of Strength and Conditioning for Gators Mens Basketball.
Extremely blessed and grateful to start this next chapter in life and to call the swamp home!
It’s always about the people! My time at USF has been nothing short of incredible. From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank all my athletes for impacting my life in more ways than you will ever know. One thing I can truly say is that I never took you all for granted and I hope you felt that every time we interacted! Being your coach was the greatest privilege and I hope you know that every time you came into the weight room I strived to bring out the best in you. It has and will always be about you and the team. Thank you to the administrators, sport coaches and staff that I was fortunate to work with - those relationships will last a lifetime. Love you all.

With limited access to a gym it’s a great opportunity to work on sprints! It’s one of the simplest things you can do to work on your power as well as maintain muscle mass. I have begun to analyze my own sprint mechanics by starting week 1 of my 12-week sprint program which starts with working on the Falling Start. The falling starts helps in working some key starting acceleration principles such as:
• Head and Body Position (Posture)
• Shin, Knee and Hip Angle
• Leg Drive
• As well as observing specific behaviors of a joint which start with the feet, heels, toes etc.
Many qualities come into play with the acceleration sprint but just a couple things to keep in mind is to ✅project maximally with each step ✅ raise your center of mass with every step and ✅ increase rhythm with every step. Remember Intent is everything!
Had the opportunity to help prep for the season during the fall - wishing the boys a helluva season. Let’s go Dons! ⚾️

I am excited to say that I have joined the University of San Francisco’s Athletic Performance staff as a full time strength and conditioning coach! What an unbelievable journey as I couldn’t be more excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a USF ! Let’s Work!
Lastly shoutout to my guy for his mentor ship over the last few months! Grateful to have had the opportunity to grind next to you and have appreciated all of your guidance. Pumped for all the continued success headed your way brother!
Although my time at Louisiana Tech University was brief, the relationships I made here will last a lifetime. Thank you LATech administration, coaches and most importantly all the student-athletes for allowing me to be a small part of your journey..
