Happy 13th Work Anniversary to our Senior Accident Reconstructionist, Mr. Geoff Walsh! 🎉

Geoff began his CSI career in 2011. Prior to joining CSI, Geoff left active duty with the Marine Corps in 1997, and began his law enforcement career with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. He completed all levels of the accident reconstruction curriculum in Georgia. Prior to his retirement from Athens-Clarke County, Geoff had investigated and reconstructed over 2,000 collisions.

Geoff has continued his training in the field of accident reconstruction since joining CSI. He has gained knowledge regarding all types of collisions to include commercial motor vehicle, passenger vehicles, rail, motorcycle, all-terrain, pedestrians, and bicycle. Over the last few years, Geoff has taken on additional task, including completing time and distance studies based on analysis of collision video evidence.

We are grateful for him and his dedication to CSI. He is an asset to this TEAM! Please join us in recognizing and congratulating Geoff on his accomplishments. Happy 13th CSI Work Anniversary, Sir! 🎉

Happy 9th Work Anniversary to our Accident Reconstructionist and CAD Specialist, Mr. Devon Fields! 🎉

Devon began his career at CSI in 2015. Prior to joining CSI, he was employed by the Georgia State Patrol. While with GSP, Devon completed all of the accident reconstruction curriculum and became certified by the State of Georgia as an Accident Reconstruction Specialist. Devon also recieved additional training including motorcycles, grade/rail crossings, and commercial motor vehicles. Prior to his departure from GSP, Devon became an adjunct instructor and began teaching accident reconstruction components to field troopers.

Devon began his CSI career as a Field Technician. In 2021, Devon joined the analysis unit and has since became our CAD Specialist. He uses his vast knowledge and experience to determine the causation of collisions using programs such as FARO 3D Scene and Reality. He continues to educate himself and determine the best tools, technology, and software for the company as a whole.

Devon is a great asset to the TEAM. We are grateful for his dedication and determination. Please join us in wishing him a Happy 9th CSI Year!! 🎉

Wishing a Happy 13th Year Work Anniversary to our Senior Accident Reconstructionist, Mr. Shane Keller!

Shane joined CSI in 2011, after a 15 year career with Atlanta PD. During his time with APD, he investigated over 3,000 motor vehicle collisions, which included over 500 fatal/serious injury crashes. He is certified as a Georgia POST Peace Officer, Field Training Officer, and a Crash Data Retrieval Technician / Analyst.

Since joining CSI, Shane has continued his education and reconstruction of collisions. He has gained expertise in commercial motor vehicles, passenger vehicles, rail, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycle. Expertise has also been gained with regard to vehicle mechanical failures and traffic signal operations.

Shane has over 1,000 hours of course training in the field of Accident Reconstruction. His knowledge and eagerness to continue to learn more makes him an incredible asset to the TEAM. We are grateful for him and his dedication. Join us in wishing Shane a Happy 13 CSI Years! 🎉🎉

Happy 7th Year Work Anniversary to our Accident Reconstructionist, Mr. Dylan Murphy! 🎉

Dylan joined CSI in June of 2017 as an Assistant Field Technician, and was tasked with the data collection, which includes inspection of collision scenes and collision vehicles. The vehicle inspections involved the examination of mechanical components, as well as crash data found in many automotive and commercial vehicles. Through the years, Dylan has completed various additional trainings and is a licensed UAS pilot.

In 2020 after thousands of vehicle inspections, Dylan was promoted to Primary Field Technician. He has many hours of hands-on experience as an Accident Reconstructionist. To further his education and experience, he is currently at GPSTC for On-Scene Level 1 training, and will go through and complete all On-Scene Training courses, as well as all Recon Courses 1-5. By the end of the year, the State of Georgia will certify him as an Accident Reconstruction Specialist.

Dylan is an asset to the TEAM and we are grateful for the hard work and “15 minutes early is 5 minutes late” attitude he brings each and every day. Please join us in wishing him a Happy 7 CSI Years!

Well that’s one way to get to work…..no excuses for Jon P.!! Jon rode the whole state of GA from the TN line to the FL line in under 24 hours years ago, so this is nothing.

Our Accident Reconstructionist, Dylan Murphy, is spending two weeks at GPSTC for On-Scene Traffic Accident Investigation Level 1, where he will learn evidence recognition, interpretation, and collection procedures.

Dylan has been with CSI since 2017, and next Thursday will be celebrating his 7 year work anniversary. Although he has 7 years of hands-on experience and various trainings in the field of accident reconstruction, by the end of the year he will become certified by the State of Georgia as an Accident Reconstruction Specialist.

We are proud to witness all of his accomplishments ahead.

Happy Two Year Work Anniversary, Caitlyn!!

Ms. Caitlyn joined CSI in June 2022 as an Administrative Assistant. When she began her career with CSI, she was in school achieving her Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of North Georgia. She graduated in December 2023 with her Bachelor's Degree, and is now in graduate school obtaining her MBA. Caitlyn has many years if customer support and administrative roles.

We are very thankful for Ms. Caitlyn's dedication and "go-getter" attitude she brings into each and every day. Please join us in wishing her a happy 2nd year work anniversary!🎉

Happy 7th Work Anniversary to our Commercial Motor Vehicle Specialists / Accident Reconstructionist, Mr. Mike Kitchens!

Mike joined CSI in 2017, and is an incredible asset. Prior to his career at CSI, Mike began his law enforcement career with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office. In 2003, he began his career with the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety, commonly known now as MCCD. In 2008 and during his career with GSP, he was assigned to the Specialized Reconstruction Team, and gained his education, training, and certification in the field of Accident Reconstruction. During his 20+ year career in law enforcement, Mike investigated well over 2500 CMV inspections and hundreds of vehicle collisions. In 2013, Mike joined a large commercial motor carrier as their Safety Director.

With his education and experience, Mike is THE guy for a CMV Compliance Review. He knows his stuff. We are grateful for his dedication to the CSI TEAM! Please join us in congratulating Mike on 7 years! 🎉

Last week, CSI participated in and sponsored the First Annual Veterans Golf Tournament. We thank those brave men and women who have fought and continue to fight for our country, including our experts Brad Roehl and Geoff Walsh, and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

We recognize, honor, and remember all who have served for our country. The brave men and women who fought hard and sacrificed their lives so that we may see another day. Your selfless acts will never go unnoticed. On this Memorial Day, we honor and we thank you.

In honor of national police week and police memorial day, we thank our fellow officers and give recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

CSI WENT TO THE BALLGAME! ⚾️

We enjoyed a wonderful company outing on Tuesday night cheering on our Braves. We are thankful for times like this to get outside of the office and spend time with each other, and to see a braves WIN!

Yesterday we kicked off the week with sweets and celebrated with cookie cake and ice cream for Mike Kitchens birthday! We hope you had a great birthday, sir! 🎉

Our expert, Dylan Murphy, installed a fancy Keurig system for those times we really need a pick-me-up during inspections, or if those attending would like a cup of joe. We also provide tents, folding chairs, and a cooler full of ice cold drinks. So whether you want some coffee or temps are getting unbearable out here, we got you covered!
