Congratulations to Matt Wallsmith on being named new CEO of the South Florida Fair!

Congratulations to Matt Wallsmith, our new CEO of the South Florida Fair! He has served as Chief Financial Officer since 1998 and as Vice President since 2019. During his 26 years with the South Florida Fair, he was responsible for handling the accounting and overseeing the gates, midway, concessions, information technology and maintenance operations. As the new President & CEO, Wallsmith plans to focus on improving parking and enhancing the overall experience and value for Fairgoers.

4-H loves partnering with Florida Agriculture in the Classroom 🍀

Mrs. Heather and two 4-H member volunteers, Jamie and Julia, had a blast at Ochwilla Elementary School this week sharing the Florida Agriculture in the Classroom Ag Literacy book for this year, The Work of the Wings. The classes enjoyed a reading of the book and then making Beenoculars so they could see as bees see. 🐝🍯Thank you to Florida Agriculture in the Classroom for providing the books and activity sheets!
