Dr. Larisa Cavallari was honored with the 2020 Distinguished Investigator Award from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy - ACCP Cardiology Practice and Research Network on Monday night. It was another amazing year for the University of Florida Precision Medicine Conference. More than 175 attendees enjoyed presentations from nearly 30 thought leaders and experts, as the field moves toward broader clinical implementation of precision medicine.

One of the annual highlights of the UF Precision Medicine Conference is the networking reception and poster session. This year, 28 abstracts were accepted featuring pharmacogenomics and precision medicine researchers from around the United States.
At the morning session of the 2020 UF Precision Medicine Conference, our keynote speaker Dr. Peter O'Donnell helped us solve the puzzle of better prescribing in the era of precision medicine. We also heard from health system leadership about the challenges and rewards of getting started with precision medicine in a health system.
