Located at the top of your head, the crown chakra is characterized by enlightenment, mindfulness, and divine wisdom. Its color is violet and when this area is blocked, the effects can be felt physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Physical manifestations may be headaches, vision problems, and memory problems, just to name a few.
Since the crown chakra is also how we connect to the universe, God, Christ consciousness, or any other spiritual belief we have, a blockage can leave us feeling disconnected from our source. We may experience shallow relationships, an overactive ego, and looped, negative thinking. Sound familiar? The crown is a commonly blocked energy area. In my office, when the crown is flooded with energy and begins to open, the effects are very interesting. A nervous client becomes calm, still, and communicates in a more connected and trusting way.
Opening the chakras is an event, but maintaining that flow requires a little bit of work and awareness or those same chakras will keep getting blocked. After each session, I go over ways to keep grounded, practicing awareness of body responses, and other ways to protect your precious energy flow. "ceremonial," when it is made from heirloom strands of cacao and hasn't been processed heavily, like cocoa. Distance Reiki can seem like a very foreign concept to many people. If I am here, and you are there, how can it work? Distance reiki is based on the premise that energy has the capability of transferring without the normal constraints of time and space. During a distance reiki session, we speak briefly over the phone in order for me to get a better understanding of what your goals are. Each client sends me a quick photo and the session begins! I start the session in my reiki therapy room and remotely scan your energy. I work energy through your chakras and when the session is complete, we speak again about any blockages and suggestions for keeping your energy balanced. How effective is it? Very! My distance clients email great feedback notes and if I didn't feel it was effective, I wouldn't offer it. The most common feedback I get is the client feels a sense of calmness and clarity. I've had clients who are suffering from anxiety, back pain, and even night terrors, all reporting a deep sense of relief.
