The reality is pooping is sooo important. We get concerned if someone isnât pooping after 3-4 days but honestly a healthy system should have 2-3 bowel movements excreting what they ate 10-12 hours ago.
It also matters what your BMs look like! In holistic health we can tell a lot by this.
Pooping is essential to detoxification. Most people are needing to give their detoxification systems TLC.
There are many ways to do this and itâs also very personal to what your body desires, thatâs why I love using muscle testing to confirm the bodyâs needs.

Make sure you are eating a good amount of protein 20 grams (especially if you have a thyroid or auto immune condition) healthy carb (greens, fruit) and good fats every 3-4 hours to balance blood sugar. The trauma of childhood abuse leads to disease. This is well researched, yet little funding goes into educating the public on: secure attachment, emotional intelligence, repair, generational trauma, and healthy family dynamics.
Young girls are conditioned to be âgoodâ and to repress their anger. Their bodies carry the pain and memories of betrayal.
In the future we will understand how emotional pain can become physical disease.
Healthy family dynamics are quite literally: disease prevention.
We need to raise young girls in homes where their bodies are not objectified, where they can say ânoâ clearly and asset boundaries, and where they can express their (rightful) anger in healthy ways. We also need to stop creating people-pleasing âfixersâ who put everyone else first as they sacrifice their own wellbeing.

Asking the question why they use the substance or drink to copeâ Iâve found as well itâs to respond to the shame, the immense pain. Itâs noticing and deciding to venture into these spaces with support, with an intention of loving these uncomfortable places.. touching them so unwinding can begin.
I spent years leading groups at a recovery center. And what I came to understand that addiction is a symptom. Itâs a response. Almost always to unresolved grief. Or shame. Typically both.
No one thatâs addicted enjoys the âhigh.â Life becomes an endless cycle of stress, betraying the people they love, and chronic lying (to themselves included.) Every spare moment is about that next drink, or the next drugâ and in a way thatâs a relief because itâs something to focus on. Something to briefly remove them from the brutal inner critic playing like a recording in the mind. Something to briefly remove them from the destruction theyâve created around themselves.
We say that people are in active addiction. But what theyâre really in is: deep grief. Grief from the abandonment of their father, from the emotional neglect of their mother, from the death of a sibling. From the punishment of poverty or the struggle of being highly sensitive in an emotionally unaware world. And almost always: from the death of their true self. A self they could never be because family or society said it was wrong, bad, or something to be ashamed of.
Addiction is the symptom.

You canât be present when your body is feeling anxious⊠or when the beliefs and emotions that you hold deep within arenât free to be expressed and FELT through the body.
When you donât give yourself a break to connect with yourself. You arenât able to with your partner, your kids or even your own inner child, The dysregulation is energy in action and that energy is mirrored as normal to those we love.
The healthiest way to address the challenges you see in your kids is to see the DYSREGULATION in Yourself and start working on yourself. Working internally will show the healing externally in your relationships and life.
Your body is sending messages, we have been trained to ignore the body and its signs so itâs time to reconnect to that wisdom to reignite those pathways in the body of communication.
Body communication is somatic and itâs the most important key to healing.

Stand up for yourself
BEAR SAYS:
This is a time to stand up for yourself and trust your instincts. Be brave when facing others who donât approve of you or donât like what you have to say, especially when you express something you truly believe in. Itâs not about you being right and making the other person wrong, but about trusting in what you believe. Although itâs nice when others agree with you, itâs really not necessary that they do, but it is necessary to treat them with respect no matter what.
Standing up for yourself is also different than making a stand against someone or something. It takes courage to do so, but it also takes courage to know when to let go and when to compromise. If in doubt, ask a trusted adult such as your mother or father, to support you or guide you in a different way to handle the situation.
ACTIVITY
* The next time you notice an uncomfortable feeling with what someone wants you to do and youâd rather not do it, just respectfully say âNo, Iâd rather not.â
* If thereâs a cause that you feel strongly about, such as helping animals out, make a plan about what you want to do about it and then do it.
* Whatever the rules are at your home, such as youâre not allowed to watch movies that are more than G or PG rated, follow those rules when youâre out with friends or at a friendâs house no matter what kind of pressure you feel from your friends.

This is so true. People pleasing comes from a belief that one is unworthy. These beliefs need to be felt in the body so the distortion can be changed.

The superficiality is exhausting, letâs make a difference in our clients life by talking about whatâs really going on⊠generational patterns carried forward up to 24 generations, the traumas where you were shamed and repressed and not allowed to be who you were created to be so you took it on to survive. If youâre just talking about it and not feeling it in your body you will not move forward as you desire. THE DISCONNECTION IS NOT YOUR ALLY, BEING IN YOUR HEADSPACE ISNâT GETTING YOU THERE.
