For example, this client…half a head of highlights, shampooed, blow dried, haircut and curls in about 2 hours! Plenty of time to pretend she’s still at the salon and go shop at Target alone while her hubby has the kids 😊

Interesting hair observation… the younger generation is ditching the constant root touch ups and celebrating the beauty of grey hair. They have no desire to be in the salon every 4-6 weeks. Instead, the grey is blended rather than covered. This leads to low maintenance touch ups just a few times per year. ✨

So many amazing clients, stylists and beauty pros have blessed us with their presence and talent along the way. It’s a trip to look back and know how far we have come. At 28 I could have never imagined owning a business, yet at 29 there I was! To be honest I was fully prepared to fail. I guess that’s why when presented the opportunity we just said “yes”. At the end of the day, what’s the worse that can happen?

So this is my “Ted talk”, say YES.
Be scared. Try. Fall down. Get up. Try again. Laugh. Cry. Scream. Enjoy. I can now look back and say “Holy s**t. We did it. We are doing it.” Happy 11 years

Covering the greys...
A very fine weaving technique aka “baby lights” will help hide greys and allow for a softer easier grow out when you can’t make it to the salon as often as you’d like.

Nothing is making us stylists sweat more than all these quarantine roots and trying to get your hair to blend nicely. When there is too much grow out, especially with blondes, the job just gets more difficult.
But ummm I kinda rocked these roots! Just sayin 🤯 I love when I impress myself. 🤣
